Offline Prayer reframes “prayer” as a contemporary, intimate ritual—an act of re-centering in a world where attention is constantly fractured. Built through collage, the work forms a private altar-like structure: found imagery and symbols are cut, layered, and partially obscured, while broken text shifts between message and texture. Holding tension between order and noise, the piece treats “offline” not as escape, but as a deliberate pause—slowing the gaze into a kind of breath. Meaning emerges through reassembly: fragments align, misalign, and align again, tracing an emotional contour that resists full articulation. The work invites viewers to hover between recognition and release, sensing silence as a material presence—dense, lingering, and quietly insistent.
